Amber Harris, LCMFT
Amber Harris is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who provides individual, couples, and family therapy for adults and older adolescents. She offers both in-person and telehealth sessions and has been practicing since 2001. Amber is also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).
Amber uses evidenced-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, mindfulness techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy. She takes a client-centered, collaborative approach tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. Her approach allows her to get to the root of problems quickly and show you practical ways to feel more in control of your life.
Amber works with concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflict, stress, life transitions, communication challenges, workplace stress, separation, divorce, infidelity, and adolescent behavioral issues.
She specializes in helping you restore balance in your life and manage stress more effectively. She is committed to helping clients feel empowered, build on their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Amber earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Pittsburg State University and her Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University.
