COVID-19 UPDATES FOR CLIENTS AT THE ROCK COUNSELING

To Our Valued Clients;

We are changing our policies to address your health and safety. We have been and will continue to take extra steps to sanitize our community areas and individual therapist's offices.

If any client (or person accompanying the client) has had or currently has any type of fever, cough, sore throat, or respiratory symptoms, please notify us to cancel your appointment. We are able to utilize teletherapy options for all clients. Please check with your health insurance company to ensure that they will reimburse for teletherapy sessions. At this point, due to COVID-19, most insurance companies are waiving their restrictions on teletherapy and you would only pay what you previously paid for face to face sessions, but we would still recommend checking with your insurance company.

Due to social distancing requirements we are asking everyone to wait in their vehicle until your appointment time is ready. Our waiting room is temporarily closed to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Your therapist can come to the front blue door when it is time to start your session or he/she can contact you by call or text to let you know that it is time to begin. We also ask you not to bring any extra people, including children, to your sessions. Also if a parent brings his/her child to therapy, the parent will need to either be in session or wait outside the building until his/her child's session is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

We're all in this together and we will continue to be available for sessions and assistance. Call your therapist at (316) 789-8511 if you have any questions or if you would like to discuss teletherapy sessions.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
