Chris Nguyen, LSCSW

Chris Nguyen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He specializes in adult, adolescent, and family counseling. He served 8 ½ years in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. He graduated from Boise State University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and received his Clinical License within 3 years. 

Chris has worked with civilians and veterans with PTSD, depression/anxiety, grief, and other significant stressors. He also has experience as a Court Appointed Special Advocate through child protection court cases to provide thorough and investigative recommendations on the child’s best interest.  

Chris’ main treatment modalities are Faith-Based Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Systems approach. He also has experience in other treatment modalities, such as Humanistic, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and Gottman. He strongly believes in working collaboratively with his clients to empower them to achieve their therapeutic goals. The client is the expert in their own lives, and Chris’ role is to help them bring forth balance and stability.
