Amber Harris, LCMFT

Amber Harris is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. She offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy for adults and older adolescents. She does both in-person and telehealth sessions. Amber has been practicing therapy since 2001. Amber has also completed additional training to become a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).

In her practice, she delivers cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and other evidence-based treatments. Amber utilizes a client-centered treatment approach that is tailored to each client’s needs. Her skills and experience allow her to get to the root of problems quickly and show you practical ways to feel more in control of your life. With compassion, honesty and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Amber specializes in helping you restore balance in your life and manage stress more effectively. Using a collaborative approach she treats depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, family conflict, blended family problems, infidelity, separation/divorce, communication difficulties, workplace issues, life cycle transitions (such as children leaving home), adolescent defiance/behavior problems, suicidal ideations, and self-harming behaviors.

Amber received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pittsburg State University in 1999. She received her Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University in 2001.
