Indy Fairbanks, LSCSW, LCAC
Indy Fairbanks is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and she also holds a Clinical License in Addictions Counseling. She offers individual therapy for persons ages 16 and older. Indy has been providing therapy since 2012. She has worked in community mental health, addictions, medical social work, and with individuals and families who are experiencing the effects of dementia.
Indy believes that we have a basic need to have a relationship with our Creator. The only way to satisfy our spiritual needs is to have a relationship with God. She incorporates a Christian worldview only to clients who request to receive treatment through the lens of faith and will always provide counseling from a viewpoint that is most comfortable for the client. Her approaches to therapy are rooted in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy which are all styles that tend to provide plenty of opportunity for feedback and coaching. Her personal style is non-judgmental, easy-going, and flexible.
Indy specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, chemical and food addictions, relationship issues, emotional abuse, compassion fatigue, end of life issues, and spiritual crises.
